How to Set Up the Quantroam eSIM on iOS
Purchase & Prepare
Before you begin, ensure you have a stable Wi-Fi connection and your device is not in Airplane Mode.
- Create an account and purchase your data package.
- Check your email for the activation QR code.
Install the eSIM
Go to Settings → Cellular (or Mobile Data) and tap Add eSIM.
Option A: Scan QR Code (Recommended)
Select "Use QR Code" and scan the code provided in your email.
Option B: Manual Entry
If you can't scan the code, select "Enter Details Manually" and copy the values from your email.
Configure Settings
Label your new eSIM as Quantroam for easy identification.
- Default Voice Line: Select your Primary SIM.
- Cellular Data: Select Quantroam.
- Data Roaming: Turn ON for Quantroam. Turn OFF for your Primary SIM to avoid charges.
How to Set Up the Quantroam eSIM on iOS 18 and earlier
Purchase & Prepare

Install the eSIM
Go to Settings → Mobile / Cellular.

Activate Data
Go to Settings → Mobile / Cellular → Cellular Data and select Quantroam.

Ensure you have a stable Wi-Fi connection.
- Create an account and buy your plan.
- Have your QR code ready (in your email).
Install the eSIM
Go to Settings → Network & Internet → SIMs and tap Add eSIM (or "Download a SIM").
Option A: Scan QR Code
Select "Scan QR code" and scan the code from your email.
Activate Data
- Go to Mobile Data and select Quantroam.
- Turn Data Roaming ON for the Quantroam eSIM.
- Turn Data Roaming OFF for your Primary SIM.
